💀 Call of Cthulhu: Haunted Hijinx Masterpost 💀
Warning: This campaign is an edited version of Call of Cthulhu: The Burning Stars scenario. While a lot has been changed, there IS spoilers for it throughout these posts.
MORE CALL OF CTHULU BENDY ADVENTURES,we got really gay in this one hERE’S MY FAVOURITE PARTS:
- FIRST AND FORMOST, as seem above, Sammy wandered off to another room to have a panic attack and recover in privacy. Joey meanwhile just leaned against Henry any watched him sketch to recover some of his own sanity.
- And then Joey gave a speech. Which I wrote directly after the previous session. Which I am now going to put here because I’m actually pretty dang proud of it:
“Okay, this is the best I have so far, so it better damn be good enough if we’re all going to get out of here alive, together.
I admit, doing research in a completely different culture to put on an above and beyond experience for Bendy is something I find Henry’s creations worth. I can even fathom that we have ended up in Haiti because it’s cheap or we were offered a deal. You… both know that we’re still getting on our feet with all this, but you gotta give it a good push if you want to keep the momentum going. Whatever is going on though? That’s not something I intended or even fathomed could happen!
I… I had a dream the other night, and part of it was my hand had been… cut like the story. Between that, the box we found, and all these notes, I have a feeling that GENT and whatever this…. CULT is, dragged us into everything because we happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. They’re the ones who shoved whatever that rock or blade was into my hands, perhaps to keep us all away from Tommy long enough for whatever this ritual to take place is. It’s truly terrible that you both are burdened with this too, but as long as you keep trying to blame it all on me, we’re never going to find the way to stop this cause we’re looking at the wrong person for who’s fault it is.
(Joey takes out the journal entry about the starpools being up in the hills and the library.)
We know something happened up there before, and we know that there’s some kind of information here. This is where we find Tom, this is where we get answers, this is where we end all of this and go home, and have a nice normal animation about Bendy meeting a skeleton.”
- Joey gets into a fight with some military guys who are spying on us cause they’re not even giving us rides anymore and the new one is extra rude. Henry tries to smooth things over, but then he says that the general thinks Henry is the most insane out of them all. hENRY??? Everyone is offended. Henry is the MOST sane of them all.
- Sammy finds the book in the notes at the library only to find that… he had written in it already. And also there’s a weird tarot card in it (that Henry later points out as him. Joey reveals he still has the other two. Sammy yells at Joey for the cards, Joey argues with Sammy about the books, this is essentially how flirting works right??
- We almost pass out again, and everyone who’s gotten so tired of passing out and waking up in the mud, instantly just sat down like good school boys on the stairs of the library the moment their heads hurt. I’m sure this was hilarious to anyone walking by.
- Joey’s wallet gets stolen at one point and he bluescreens. Not only does he not know what to do, as this has never happened to him before, but he’s not even fully… aware?? THAT THIS WAS A THING THAT C O U LD HAPPEN?!?
- Sammy chases after the kid and screams at him, manages to frighten the child into dropping the wallet and running off. This is, the first time, in the entire adventure, Sammy has used his intimidate skill, which is EXTREMELY HIGH.
On someone who is.
Much, Smaller than him.
…
Feels correct.
- While walking thru the front part of a building, it was somehow determined that the Security Guy For Hire was expectedly muscly but also unexpectedly hot. Everyone rolled a Gay Check, to which only Joey succeeded… and grabbed Henry and Sammy and lead them past the area much faster as he was not pleased at where they were looking and or what was on their faces.
- This wasn’t actually IN the game, but we decided after the session that Henry is aware of Joey’s Crush and lowkey is attracted to him (and pan) but also still is only going to put up with so much of Joey Being Joey. Sammy would love it if he somehow ended up between both of them but would also be very confused and not sure what to do. And of course, there’s Joey’s huge crush on Henry, but he also has a huge attraction to Sammy that he hasn’t even realized himself?? He just likes keeping Sammy v e r y c l o s e to himself constantly, for sOME REASON…………….
